Because of my experience with gardening and staging, I can counsel my real estate clients on gardening and staging their property for best showing and impressing the
most buyers.
A “For Sale” sign and flyer box are placed on the lawn.
Booklets with information on the home, along with pictures, are placed inside the home for buyers who tour the home or make an appointment to see the home.
Within one to two weeks before holding open houses,” I invite neighbors, agents, friends,
and my database, through personal contact or mail, giving them information about the house to be open.
At open houses, there are incentives for people to attend, such as prizes, cash card drawings to restaurants, wine for adults, colorless drinks for children, etc.
Balloons and directional signs are set-up on the day of the event or the day before, if allowed.
Open House signs are set up in the yard of the home to be open.
Notice of the open house is set up on Houston Association of Realtors (HAR) Multiple Listing Service (MLS) and more than 40 social media groups through Keller Williams Realty as well as with my own Face Book, Twitter, LinkedIn, Plaxo, Active Rain, Broker Agent Social accounts, and others.
For sellers, I give in-depth consultation to learn:
- about their homes.
- what they expect from the sale of the home.
- if I can assist them in the purchase of their next home, or refer them to an agent in another city.
